Water4gas Is Dead?

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

Is Water4gas dead or dying? Ozzie Freedom stated in a letter to members which I am one, that things are moving forward (You can read the letter from Ozzie at the end of this post). But to me it seems that the water 4 gas movement has lost its forward momentum mainly due to public interest waning because gas and oil prices have been pulling back lately. Human nature dictates once you pay $4.25 a gallon for regular that when the price pulls back to $3.50 a gallon this is conceived as a bargain.

Water4gas MAP sensor enhancerI am somewhat guilty of this myself. I have the water4gas system installed on my vehicle now for 2 months and still have not purchased the MAP sensor enhancer. I did take the scan gage unit out of my wife’s corolla and put it in my blazer to get a second opinion on the current results.

The scan gage confirmed my factory installed fuel trip computers reading of 21 mpg highway. This is up from the usual 15-16 mpg this truck usually receives. I have stopped using the system for city driving because the results are harder to track but it seems no improvement over my standard 15 mpg city is achieved by using it.

Inside Water4gas Website

Hydrogen generator imageThe water4gas website has come a long way in the seven month’s that I have been a member. When I bought my water for gas books In December of 07 there really wasn’t much to the website. So I just downloaded my two books, the comprehensive parts list, and my bonuses. I had not gone back to the water 4 gas website until I started receiving questions about what the support in the forums were all about.

image of oxygen sensor enhancerI am glad I revisited the members area, because it really has grown fantastically. When you first purchase the product you’re taken to a download page that also provides links to all of the other features that the water4gas website provides for its users. Let me give you some examples.

The VIP lounge is basically like a site map for what is available to the community. It also provides a list of vendors and electronic stores that have been used by the community with good results. Basically the links in the VIP lounge are websites that deliver what they promise for fair pricing. I also liked the tax credit links and am looking forward to the look on my accountants face when I ask him to submit the supplied forms.

Also provided at the top of this list is a link to the water for gas forums. I spent a couple of hours going through the different threads and posts to this forum and found it very motivational and helpful. There are lots of individuals discussing their successes and failures with their specific model vehicles. And this can be very helpful to people with the same common vehicle. If your still stumped they provide a help desk that I have not used.

Water 4 gas what else is inside?

The frequently asked questions area is a must visit. It answered every question I have ever been asked about the system. Some examples are: (more…)

Water 4 Gas Fuel Heater

water 4 gas fuel heaterThis weekend I assembled the water 4 gas fuel heater. It didn’t take much effort. I went to the local hardware store and got the brass pieces and fittings needed and put the device together with some pipe sealant.

This is considered phase 2 of the water 4 gas system. A quick review of the theory behind this device. It is used to heat the fuel before it enters the combustion chamber. Basically, the plan is to buy the fuel cold and in a condensed state and then heat it, forcing it to expand before it enters the combustion chamber.

I have no idea how this will work in increasing my fuel economy. I have also found very little information on the Internet supporting or denying the validity of this claim that heating the fuel will increase fuel economy.
Back when I was in automotive training in the early 80s. Our teacher told us a story I will share with you but cannot verify. The shop class instructor specialized in carburetors. Since the year was 1982 the carburetors where computer-controlled with MC (mixture control) solenoids.

Our instructor told a story about a computer controlled carburetor that had a base plate gasket that contained a fuel heating grid below the throttle plates. The teacher stated that this fuel heating grid heated the atomized fuel as it passed from the throttle plates into the intake manifold.

The Instructor said that this carburetor setup was responsible for 50 plus miles per gallon on a 302 V-8 Ford LTD. He did indicate that (more…)
