You were talking about your drive was within city, but generally trucks  drives are mostly on highways. So it will give you more.

		<description>I have installed 2 cells on my 82 Corolla.  After cutting the plugged catalytic converter out, fixing the vacuum advance, and doing new plugs, filters, and fluids, I am not so sure I have increased my mpg.  The car still gets 300 km on 30-40 litres of fuel, and now sputters as I think the fuel pump is going.

Does this work?   I want to sell these in Canada, but will not until I see real results on a 4 cylinder car.

As with the other comments, the website I find is weak for real answers.  What would help is photos of different models with setups so folks like me, who are not overly mechanical, can see what works.  

My set up is simple.  I haven't even plugged into the ignition, just use a toggle switch with no fuse.  I have both jars going, and finally have bubbles coming up after sealing the jars with vaseline on the lids.  I connected the output into a EGR vacuum line direct.  However, I am not convinced that I am getting hydrogen output.  Once I did get a pop from the car as I tested the end, but that was it.

My advice for anyone doing this.  Learn mechanics first.  My frustration levels have been through the roof.

I do believe you will have to install a map sensor enhancer of some sort to keep your fuel mixture where you will need it though, because your cars computer will try to reset to its factory seting.

I ordered a kit and  hand to build a generator tank that would fit my truck the one in the kit was too tall. I put the kit together in the shop fired it up and it works I am  just a little Leary about putting it In not knowing what it will do to that computer system in my truck. any input would be helpful thanks</description>

The good news was that the forums and marketplace have filled out quite nicely. There is a lot to see and do in the members area now. I will do some exploring and try to get a post up about it by the end of the holiday weekend. To answer the question about updates there has been 4 posted updates since my purchase in December and the latest one was in July 08. Currently running a 7 unit series cell of my own design in a Chevy Cavalier 2.2l combined with extensive mods to the sensors feeding the OBD11 computer. I found that doing sensor mods in isolation gave results, but the computer tended to compensate for them and negate the gains. My findings are that you need to attack all the sensors at the same time, combined with decent hydrogen production,  to enable the gains to stick and hurt the oil barons pocket.

It seems that the hydro generators work easier on older carburettor cars, but computers and fuel injection were put in place to try to stop us tinkering.
