Water4gas Update

I have some results to share with you about the recent install of the water4gas fuel heater in my 04 Chevrolet Blazer. The results were not spectacular. After having the water for gas fuel heater design, installed on my truck for the last two weeks, and doing mostly city driving, a gain of only 1 to 2 miles per gallon was observed.

image of me and my toolsThis may seem like a very small gain and it is, but to me it is huge. The reason being is my 4.3 L engine has never received more than 15 miles per gallon in its three years of operation. For the first time, this truck has seen 16 and 17 miles per gallon with just the fuel heater installed.

As far as fuel heaters go the one I used is a fairly weak design. There are more advanced fuel heating units available such as the one pictured above. I will be investigating this one as well as other units made for heating diesel fuel.

I will also be moving the test hho generator I installed in my wife’s Toyota Corolla To my Chevy Blazer and begin testing this weekend. I went through you tube and watched many videos that were extremely motivational. Here are my 2 favorite short ones showing an advanced system and the very believable results.

Water4gas Results Update

Just to update you the gentleman with the Saturn in the above videos has added a variable resistor to the o2 sensor circuit and has now achieved 44mpg with his Saturn that would normally get around 27 mpg on a good day with a tail wind. Just about every component of his system has been upgraded from the original water4gas system.

I am going to make a commitment to dedicate more time to my water for gas project. The whole idea behind this system is that it teaches you enough to make improvements to achieve bigger results. Also after watching the videos available I see that the largest improvements are made when bigger and stronger hydrogen generators are installed in conjunction with oxygen sensor modifications. I will be exploring both of these upgrades and will keep you up-to-date on my results.

I invite your comments and constructive criticism, just as I have in the previous four posts. The water for gas website has also added new testimonials and videos If you would like more information on what I consider a valuable learning experience.

Hey roof repair: Thanks for the heads up on the water4gas video not working. I got it fixed up and ready to view. The hho games that I went to in November really got my water for gas juices flowing again. I am currently working on some upgrades I saw at the show.

It really seems interesting but unfortunately I am late to see this video. MRG please see why this attached video is not working? I also want to get information in this field. Furthermore, if you say that its a benefit of 1-2 miles apparently it looks nothing but when we see in bulk so it will give you more benefit. You were talking about your drive was within city, but generally trucks drives are mostly on highways. So it will give you more.

    Good Luck!!!

I too am having trouble seeing any increase of gas mileage in my 02 Mazda Tribute, 4cylinder 2 liter engine with 5 speed manual transmission. Have connected MAP to the exhaust manifold sensor with little or no effect. Do I also need to connect it to the catalytic converter sensor? I am getting hydrogen production and good vacuum 9water is going down in the jar.

I have installed 2 cells on my 82 Corolla. After cutting the plugged catalytic converter out, fixing the vacuum advance, and doing new plugs, filters, and fluids, I am not so sure I have increased my mpg. The car still gets 300 km on 30-40 litres of fuel, and now sputters as I think the fuel pump is going.

Does this work? I want to sell these in Canada, but will not until I see real results on a 4 cylinder car.

As with the other comments, the website I find is weak for real answers. What would help is photos of different models with setups so folks like me, who are not overly mechanical, can see what works.

My set up is simple. I haven’t even plugged into the ignition, just use a toggle switch with no fuse. I have both jars going, and finally have bubbles coming up after sealing the jars with vaseline on the lids. I connected the output into a EGR vacuum line direct. However, I am not convinced that I am getting hydrogen output. Once I did get a pop from the car as I tested the end, but that was it.

My advice for anyone doing this. Learn mechanics first. My frustration levels have been through the roof.

  6. If you are not up to date on the “Hydro assist Fuel cell” do yourself a
favor and check out the above website.
    Thanks Steve

Wow, that is impressive. Just watche the vid, and a 10 mpg gain is really amazing!

Hey mrg, thanks for anserwing mehrl’s question.

I have not yet installed anything, But will soon do so.

I do believe you will have to install a map sensor enhancer of some sort to keep your fuel mixture where you will need it though, because your cars computer will try to reset to its factory seting.

    Good luck and keep posting.

Merhl: Its seems to be trial and error to find what brings the best results. My strategy has been to implement 1 upgrade at a time and measure the results and then fine tune that addition before moving on to the next addition. After poking around the water4gas forums it would seem that both the o2 sensors and map sensor enhancers are needed for maximum results.

I have not installed or built either myself yet so I can not report results for you. In fact after visiting the water4gas market place I am considering purchasing ready to go sensor enhancers to move my project along.

Since you purchased the water4gas system I would go back to the forums and market place for assistance with your exact model and learn from people that have already experimented with the Toyota tundra. Results seem to vary widely from make to model!

  10. merhl says:

ronnie I have a question for you, I have a 2003 toyota tundra 4.7 v8 do you think i will have to use a map enhancer and 02 enhancer or are these 2 the same. I ordered a kit and hand to build a generator tank that would fit my truck the one in the kit was too tall. I put the kit together in the shop fired it up and it works I am just a little Leary about putting it In not knowing what it will do to that computer system in my truck. any input would be helpful thanks

Hi Ronnie: I bought the water4gas books in December 2007. I downloaded my books and parts list and did not go back to the members area because at that time there was not much to see. I found my login details and went back today to see what had changed.

The good news was that the forums and marketplace have filled out quite nicely. There is a lot to see and do in the members area now. I will do some exploring and try to get a post up about it by the end of the holiday weekend. To answer the question about updates there has been 4 posted updates since my purchase in December and the latest one was in July 08. So I will dig around the updates and try to report on that as well.

  12. Ronnie L says:

Thinking about the water4 gas system, I thought, acording to there web site, you are suppose to get free updates from them AND suppose to be able to communacate with others through there web site.

    Is this not the case?

Please post ASAP as I am very interrested in there product.

Should I go with another plan?

  13. mrg says:

Hi Rik: I agree that the water 4 gas system has short comings and that is exactly what this blog is about and why I appreciate your visit and comments.

I bought the water4gas books to learn about the subject and learn I did. This is why I did not ask for a refund because the books did their part and got me to take action (and so did you)!

It would be nice if Good old Ozy would update his books to include and take advantage of all the independent testing we have all done for him. Water4gas 2 could be a more valuable product and if you ask me should be free for the people that bought his system and did not return it.

  14. Rik says:

Good to hear you are also starting to get results :)

The w4g books are a good starting point, but leave a lot to be desired in terms of effective designs. My first generator was built from their plans and disintegrated when I tried to get a decent gas output. Have learned a lot since then.

Currently running a 7 unit series cell of my own design in a Chevy Cavalier 2.2l combined with extensive mods to the sensors feeding the OBD11 computer. I found that doing sensor mods in isolation gave results, but the computer tended to compensate for them and negate the gains. My findings are that you need to attack all the sensors at the same time, combined with decent hydrogen production, to enable the gains to stick and hurt the oil barons pocket.

It seems that the hydro generators work easier on older carburettor cars, but computers and fuel injection were put in place to try to stop us tinkering.

  15. Tommy says:

ahh, I see from the other set of comments: “…we took a trip down to fort myers and the corolla got 33 mpg.”

  16. Tommy says:

Do you have any update on your father’s Escort or your wife’s Corolla as far as mpg gained? I saw your first video with the Escort reporting 60mpg, but was that gain realized over the next couple of months? What is the average gain that you are seeing from those 2 cars? This idea interests me, and your blog is the only one I have found that seems credible.
